Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox went to the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and flautist piano over three years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances compared to that of her peers. She started to think about other options. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, when she joined the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. In this band, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create The Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox began work for Diva in 1992. It was her debut album as a solo artist. The album received a lot of praise, both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is comprising four tracks that were improvised. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on December 25, 1954. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while members of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992 by releasing her debut album Diva. It featured many popular songs including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It has covers of some songs, including The No MoreI I Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation. |
